Omicron -Covid-19 Variant

There are more than 2.8 million confirmed cases of coronavirus worldwide now, and more than 50 countries have reported at least 1,000 deaths related to COVID-19. The World Health Organization (WHO) also reports over 879,000 patients have lost their lives till and nearly 14.7 million people and businesses have been affected by this disease. Despite the severe toll from COVID-19 across the globe, it appears that vaccines could potentially provide protection against the new SARS-CoV-2 variant causing a range of symptoms. Pfizer’s, Modern a’s, and AstraZeneca’s, among others, are the Vaccines currently being used in the U.S.    Research shows on COVID-19 vaccines is still quite limited, with only about 15% of scientists participating in clinical trials and Phase 3 studies (test results that involve many participants) reporting a successful vaccine efficacy.
